Are there any contracts or early termination fees?
No. When you purchase the Dolphin Power Dialer you pay $89 for your first month of unlimited calling. You can pause your monthly $89 billing at any time. When you get ready to turn it back on just give us a call and you only pay $89. We also have a plan for paying quarterly that works out to $79 per month and yearly that works out to $69 per month. These costs are per seat.
Will the prospects be able to tell that I’m using an automatic dialer?
No, with our system there is never a delay when the person answers, you hear the ringing, and you hear them say hello.
Are there any upfront hardware or infrastructure costs required to use the Dolphin Power Dialer?
There isn’t any additional hardware or infrastructure that you have to invest in to begin using the Dolphin other than just basic office items that most companies already have in place. Each agent will need a computer, a high speed internet connection and a USB headset.
Are there any long distance charges when using the Power Dialer?
When using the Dolphin Power Dialer and our ZoomCalls ($59 per month for unlimited calling) there are NO long distance charges and no overages.
What type of database or phone lists can I use with the Power Dialer?
Dolphin Power Dialer works with comma delimited files, commonly called .csv files. This is the most common format available. If you have a file in Excel format these can easily be converted to .csv files in Excel (See our Tutorial on this under the Phone List Manager section). If you are using a third party CRM such as ACT! or Sales Force they will have an option to export to .csv file, that can then be imported into the Dolphin Power Dialer.
Do I have to be in the USA or Canada to use the Dolphin Power Dialer?
No, you can use Dolphin from anywhere in the world as long as you’ve got a desktop or laptop PC and a high speed internet connection. BUT, you can only call numbers in the USA and Canada with Dolphin. If you need to call numbers outside the USA and Canada that is possible, contact us for details.
Can I set my caller ID?
Yes you can set the caller ID to any 10 digit American or Canadian phone number that you wish. You can change this as whenever you want to.
Can I stop or pause a dialing campaign?
Yes, you can pause your campaign at any time, and restart it whenever you wish. The Power Dialer software keeps track of all your calls so when you restart it will pick up where you left off.
What are the miniumum requirements to use Dolphin Power Dialer?
Computer: A PC running Windows 7 or Windows 8 with minimum 1 GHZ processor, 1 GB of RAM, 10 MB of available hard drive space, and available USB port for headset. Broadband Internet Connection: Each user will need at least 90 kbps upload and download bandwidth.
Can I use the Dolphin Power Dialer on my Mac?
The Power Dialer software is written for Microsoft Windows operating systems; however, it IS possible to use Dolphin on your Mac if you are running software on your Mac such as Parallels Desktop for Mac. Parallels allows you to seamlessly run both Windows and Mac OS applications side-by-side. You can see more about Parallels on their website.
How is the Power Dialer different from a Predictive Dialer?
The biggest differences are cost, ease of use and legality. Predictive dialers are normally very expensive systems that can cost thousands of dollars per agent or if hosted hundreds of dollars per month. Our Power Dialer is $59 per month with a one time license fee of $99. Predictive dialers are also complex systems that can require IT support on a daily basis. There are also legal issues with Predictive Dialers because when you are dialing on more lines that you have agents available there are going to be dropped calls. Telemarketing dialing guidelines in the USA say that your dropped call ration has to be under 3%.
What type of call transfers does Dolphin support?
With Dolphin you can do blind transfers, supervised transfers, and also conference calls. You can transfer the call to any type of number, cell phone or land line.
What kind of support and training do you offer?
We offer training and support by telephone, live chat and email. Our support tech support team is available Monday through Friday 9 AM to 6 PM Central Time. In addition we have training tutorials that are available on our website at all time.
What are the biggest differences between your Power Dialer and some of the other services that are available?
We believe that our Power Dialer is the best and easiest to use auto dialing product on the market. It’s not a service and it’s not cloud based. You own the software and you manage your data, AND your data doesn’t have to be uploaded to someone elses server that you hope is secure. You also aren’t dependant on their servers being up for you to log in and access your data and make calls because your data and your software in on your own PC.
